Make model photos, step by step

Pick what you sell
Tap “Model photos” on Home and choose the garment type: Kurti Set, Saree, Lehenga, Shirt / T-shirt, Trouser, Men Ethnic, Western, Jewelry or Product. Each type has its own poses and styling.
- Pick the type that matches how the garment is worn — a co-ord kurti set is a Kurti Set, not Western.
- Jewelry and Product shots work too, with or without a model.

Shoot a whole collection like a brand
Campaign Studio plans and shoots 2–4 looks together — same location, consistent models, cover shots and group photos — like a professional campaign.

Pick the garment type
All looks in one campaign are the same type — for example 4 sarees or 3 kurti sets.

For every look, add the photo marked REQUIRED plus any optional pieces. Same upload tips as model photos.

Set the creative
Choose the models and the location. For a custom location, describe it in words — or upload a reference photo of a place and every photo is shot there.

Review the shot list
Each row is 1 photo — covers, group shots and single-look shots. Add, remove or change rows and pick the photo shape.

Generate
Planning costs 30 credits; each photo is the normal price. Every shot retries once automatically before it’s counted as failed — and failed shots are refunded.

Is DrapifyApp free to try?
Yes. Every new account gets one free photo at 2K (25 credits), with no payment. You can explore the whole flow without signing up — sign-in is only asked when you tap Generate. The free photo is one per device, has no watermark, and if it comes out wrong you can redo it once for free.
What photo should I upload?
A clear, bright photo of the garment alone — flat on a plain sheet, on a hanger, or the unstitched fabric. Show the whole piece, one piece per upload box, no person wearing it. Phone photos are perfect; sharpness and true colour matter more than megapixels.
How much does a photo cost?
A photo costs 9 credits at 1K, 25 at 2K and 35 at 4K. Credit packs are one-time purchases from ₹199 for 150 credits (6 HD photos); Business (₹2,499 for 2,500 credits, 100 HD photos) is the best value.
Do credits expire? Is there a subscription?
No and no. You buy a pack once and the credits stay until you use them. There is nothing recurring to cancel.
A photo failed. Did I lose credits?
No. Failed or empty generations are detected automatically and the credits go back to your balance. You can retry just that photo.
The colour looks slightly different from my fabric.
Turn on True-to-Fabric Colour Lock on the upload screen and re-shoot the photo in daylight without a colour cast. If the upload is accurate but the result drifted, use Regenerate and describe the correction.
Will the model look the same in every photo?
Yes — within a shoot every pose uses the same model. To reuse that model in your next shoot, lock the face and scene on the result screen.
Who can use the Campaign Studio?
Campaign shoots open with any credit pack (or once you have 51+ credits). Planning costs 30 credits per campaign, and each photo in your shot list costs the normal per-photo price.
In Swap, can I use my own model’s face?
Yes. Choose “Same face” to keep the face already in your photo, “New AI model” for a new person whose look, age, body and hair you choose, or “Your face” to upload a face once and reuse it — saved faces stay on your device.
Can I use the photos in ads and on marketplaces?
Yes. Full commercial rights are included, and AI model faces are synthetic originals — safe for Meta and Google ads, Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho and your own store.
Which download formats are available?
PNG, JPG and TIFF. Download one photo at a time or the whole shoot together.
How long does it take?
A single photo usually takes under a minute; a full set of poses finishes in about 1–3 minutes because the poses render at the same time.
