How do I calculate profit and commission on Flipkart?
Flipkart profit per order = selling price − commission (a % of price) − fixed fee − collection fee − shipping fee − 18% GST on those fees − GST in your price − product cost − packaging, then adjusted for returns. Enter the figures from your Seller Hub rate card to see settlement, profit, margin and break-even price.

Flipkart’s fee lines
Flipkart’s seller rate card has itemised a commission that varies by category and price, a fixed fee by price band, a collection or payment fee, and a shipping fee by weight and zone (local, zonal or national). GST at 18% applies to the fees. Lines and amounts change, so enter 0 for any your rate card no longer shows.
Returns hit fashion hardest
Apparel returns often run well above other categories, and each return can bring reverse shipping. Use your own last month’s return rate, not an average from elsewhere.
Worked example (hypothetical)
A ₹699 dress costing ₹320 with ₹15 packaging and 5% GST: at 15% commission, ₹20 fixed, ₹15 collection and ₹60 shipping, fees with GST are ₹235.82 and GST in the price is ₹33.29, so profit if delivered is about ₹94.89. At 15% returns and ₹80 per return, expected profit is about ₹68.66.
