Which marketplace gives the most profit for my product?
Enter one product’s price, cost and packaging, then each channel’s fee %, fixed fee, shipping and return rate. The calculator shows expected profit per order on Meesho, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and your own website side by side, after 18% GST on fees and returns, and highlights the most profitable channel.

Try one freeHow to use it
- Enter selling price, product cost and packaging once.
- Replace each channel’s example fees with your own rate cards.
- Set each channel’s real return rate and loss per return.
- Compare profit per order in the last column.
How the comparison works
For each channel: fees = (price × fee % + fixed fee + shipping) × 1.18. Profit if delivered = price − fees − cost − packaging. Expected profit = profit if delivered × (1 − return rate) − loss per return × return rate.
Fees are only half the story
A channel with higher fees can still win if it returns less or sells at a higher price. Sellers often price the same product differently per channel; change the price and compare again.
Own website costs
A website avoids commission but pays a payment gateway, shipping and the cost of bringing buyers in. Put your ad cost per order into the fixed fee to compare fairly.
Questions
- Are the example fees real platform rates?
- No. They are editable placeholders. Replace them with your own rate cards, because rates differ by category and change often.
- Why is GST added on fees?
- Marketplace fees attract 18% GST. If you claim it back as input credit your real cost is lower, so treat the result as conservative.
- Can I compare different prices per channel?
- This view uses one price. For different prices, run each platform’s own calculator.
