How are Meesho shipping charges worked out?
Shipping is driven by the greater of a parcel’s actual weight and its volumetric weight (length × width × height in cm ÷ 5000), rounded up to the next slab. Meesho shows the exact shipping charge in the Supplier Panel when you catalogue a product. This calculator compares two packing options so you can see whether a smaller pack drops you into a lower slab.

Option B is 0.5 kg lighter to ship.
Uses length × width × height ÷ 5000 and 0.5 kg slabs. Meesho sets the actual shipping charge itself from the details you declare, so check the charge it shows in your Supplier Panel. Always declare true sizes and weights.

What you can control
Clothing is light, so the pack’s size usually sets the slab. Folding tighter, using a flyer instead of a box and avoiding air gaps can move a parcel down a slab. Meesho checks parcels, so declare honest sizes and weights.
About “low shipping” tricks
Some sellers try to lower shipping by shrinking the product in photos or under-declaring weight. Neither changes the real parcel, and wrong declarations risk penalties. Packaging is the honest lever.
