How do I create SKU codes for my products?
Enter a prefix, your styles, colours and sizes, and a starting number. The generator builds one readable SKU for every combination, such as KUR-ANA-BLU-M-101, flags duplicates, and exports a CSV for your marketplace catalogues or inventory sheet.

How to use it
- Pick a short prefix for your brand or category.
- List styles, colours and sizes, separated by commas.
- Set a starting number and separator.
- Download the CSV or copy the SKUs.
What makes a good SKU
Keep SKUs short, readable and unique, with the same order of parts every time. Avoid spaces and special characters, and don’t reuse a SKU for a different product, even after it sells out.
SKUs and barcodes
Once you have SKUs, the barcode generator turns them into Code 128 labels for bins, tags and packets.
Questions
- How many SKUs can it make?
- Up to 2,000 combinations at once.
- Can I use the same SKU on Meesho, Amazon and Flipkart?
- Using one SKU per product across channels makes stock tracking easier. Check each marketplace’s character limits.
- What if two styles start with the same letters?
- The tool warns about duplicates. Rename one style so the first three letters differ.
